As an Occupational Health and Safety Trainee you will develop the skills and knowledge required to identify hazards and assess and control risks; contribute to OHS in the workplace; manage and consult on OHS issues; build business relationships; plan and implement emergency response procedures; and establish, review and evaluate OHS measures and initiatives.

This training is proudly funded by the Queensland Government through its First Start program under the Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative. Skilling Queenslanders for Work provides skills development, training and job opportunities to unemployed, disengaged or disadvantaged Queenslanders through a suite of targeted skills and training programs.

This is a great opportunity to develop skills and knowledge through completing on the job working experience and training with an employer whilst completing a nationally recognised course of training through a registered training organisation.
